Not content with helping to bomb the crap out of their country, John Howard reckons the Iraqis could do with our system of government.

Prime Minister John Howard today suggested that a reconstructed Iraq might benefit from an Australian-style federal system of government.
Speaking at the opening of the Commonwealth Law Conference in Melbourne, Mr Howard said there were similarities between the situation in Iraq and that in Australia.
"When you have strong ethnic and regional difference, it is only a federal system (of government) that can hold it together," Mr Howard said.

If we have to impose our style of government on them, do you think we can impose the people in government on them as well? Send them all to Iraq and we'll start afresh here.
