Drugs are bad, mmkay?

A man who smoked up to 100 marijuana bongs a day went on a violent rampage, hijacking cars and assaulting people because of his paranoid fear of police.

I'm just wondering where he found time to go on a rampage if he was doing a hundred a day. More to the point, how did he not just tranquillise himself into non-existence first?
