Who's looking after the children?

The Federal Government has written to national television news directors urging them to show restraint on Iraqi war footage during prime viewing times for children.
Children's Minister Larry Anthony also urged parents to be aware of the effect of war images on their children. "All television networks will no doubt be showing a great deal of footage of the conflict in Iraq over the coming days and weeks," Mr Anthony said.
He said he had written to the stations asking them to show restraint in the type of visuals used in covering the conflict, particularly at prime viewing time for children.

Got this one via Zem, who remarks "He doesn't explain how this is supposed to work during live broadcasts, which seem to make up a large proportion of current coverage."
