No, I didn't know either until I visited the page that prior to taking up with the Nation of Islam, the bigot formerly known as Louis Eugene Walcott spent a year working as a calypso singer known as "The Charmer", making compilation appearances as well as an album of his own. Download it and listen for yourself. Methinks it would seem like an odd song anyway, but knowing who's responsible for it gives it an additional edge.
