Someone needs to think a little harder, obviously.

WITH no television or electricity, Iraqis failed to receive the TV messages US President George Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair tried to send them today.
US President George W Bush used a new television station to tell the Iraqi people "you will be free", Prime Minister Tony Blair's office said.
Mr Blair also recorded a message for broadcast on the new station called "Towards Freedom", Mr Blair's office said.
The station broadcasted from a US C-130 Hercules aircraft circling in the skies over Iraq, beaming five hours of programming to the former Iraqi state TV terrestrial channel.

Shame that few people seem to have been able to watch Messrs Bush and Blair's stirring performances. The people of Basra would probably have been too busy trying to find water to watch them in any case.
